Mails close at the Thief Post Office for the following planes (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: FRIDAY, FEB. 6. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, via Sydney, per Wukatipu, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train.
SATURDAY, FEB. 7. For Otago, per Penguin. For Northern Ports, per Hawea.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Suez, will be closed at Christchurch on February 12th, and will be due in London on April Ist.
