The brigantine Nightingale, wiudbound, put in to Port Levy on Saturday afternoon. The barque Hopeful, Captain Luly, was towed round to Corsair Bay on Saturday, and beached. The brig Rio Loge towed to the stream od Saturday for Newcastle to load for here. The Ada Wiswell at Port Chalmers f'aax New Tork finished discharging the Uunedin part of her cargo on Friday last. The remainder is for this port. In coming alongside the Akaroa wharf the s.s. Taiaroa took the ground, it being low water. She was detained two and a half hours before getting alongside to discharge her cargo._ The Euterpe landed four combine engines on Saturday. It is said she will load here instead of at Adelaide as before reported. The s.s. Hawea, Captain Kennedy, arrived on Saturday at 11 a.m. from Port Chalmers, after a fine weather ran of eighteen hours. She sailed North at 9 p.m. The Government steamer Hinemoa, Captain Fairchi!d, arrived on Saturday at 5 a.m. from Napier, after a run of thirty-six hours. She landed [two chests of ova, and one of ice, and sailed at 11 a.m. for Port Chalmers. THE CLARA FROM MAURITIUS. Messrs Sclanders, Fletcher and Co.'s chartered brigantine Clara arrived from Mauritius last night with a full cargo of sugar. She left there November 22nd, and will be entered at the Cnstoms to-day, and berthed at the wharf to-morrow. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bltjf, January 19. Arrived—Hinemoa, with white-fish ova. Also, tho Tararua, from Melbonrne. Passengers for Lyttelton— Mr and Mrs Bradahaw, Captain Walker, Mr McTulloch; 22 steerage, and 30 ton 3 of cargo. Sailed—Hinemoa, for the Snare 3 ; Albion Co's ship Jessie Readman, for London, with a cargo of wool, oats, and preserved meats, valued at ■£80,009.
