Judkins, on remand from Kiiapoi, was discharged; also, William Fowler, from the same place, was let go, they having recovered. Embbzzlbmbnt of Ship's Stoees. —Isaac Whiting was presented for embezzling stores from the ship Hereford. The second officer stated that the accused had written a letter to the captain, expressing his regret at having so committed himself, and the captain did not wish to prosecute. The case was therefore dismissed. Civil Oasb. —Garforth and Lee v Lawaon, claim £2 13s 7d ; judgment by default.
