A commission lately appointed by the Prussian Government to investigate the best class of inks to employed for official purposes, have just presented their report. They state that aniline inks are not suited for this purpose, because they can ba easily washed sway, especially by preparations of chlorine. Inks in the composition of which alizari (Adrianople red) is employed can be obliterated less- easily. Bat they are of opinion that the best of all is that made frsm gall nuts, and recommend that it shall be need for official purposes, and for all documents the preservation of which is of importance.— London " Times." 1.
