The observations are taken at 9.30 a m., and record the temperature of the previous twenty-four hours, BEMARES. The month has been fine until the 13th, except the 6th, when dull and showery ; 14ih to 16th dull and showery ; then settled and fine until end of month, except the 27th and 31st. The rainfall and atmospheric moisture have been nearly the same as the past four years for the same month. Prevailing winds have been N.B. andS.W. A brilliant meteor was visible on the 20:h, at 8 30 p.m., travelling parallel to the earth from S.E. to N.—visible some seconds. There have been twenty-two fine days during the month.
