In this morning's gallop, Lone Hand did three miles at a good pace in company with Laertes, Pinfire, and Lira. Agent went a slow canter for two miles, starting stiff, but finished right. Xantippe went twice round. Old Magician and Lalla Rookh had walking exercise. Templeton and Maritana did three miles in company, Templeton in good form. Sportsman from Waikato had his first morning's airing over the course, though he only walked. Hippo walked. Sinking Fund with a bandaged leg went a good gallop. HAWKE'S BAY RACES.
