THE CIRCUS.
Tho attendance at tho circus last evening was an improvement upon Saturday night, every seat being occupied, and tho large assemblage gave lively testimony throughout the evening of their satisfaction at the numerous performances. An entire change of programme was presented, although there is necessarily a certain amount of sameness about exhibitions of this kind. One cf the first performances was the plate spinning of Mr Dunbar, who possesses a hand of extraordinary cunning in the manipulation of ordinary delf. Messrs Lazslle and Moffit wore equally good in their acrobatic feats, which were all performed with peculiar neatness and effect, and evidenced uncommon muscular development. The horse • riding was unusually good, that of Miss Nellie Reid especially. One of the principal features of the evening, however, was the performance of Signor Ohiarini’s trained colt. The wild animals, as usual, formed a subject of interest.
