THE CIRCUS.

There was a very large attendance ; of children at the circus on Saturday afternoon,, and the performance was much appreciated by them, judging from the peals of laughter whioh greeted the various acta. In the evening the tent was again well filled, when the programme of the opening night was repeated.. Mr Bartolo’s wonderful performance elicited loud plaudits, as did Signor Ohirani’s graceful act of horsemanship. The performances of the Misses Fergus, Watson, and Seed were excellent, as was also the riding of Master Watson, which was something wonderful for one so young. Mdlle. liotta again went through her astounding feats of strength, and Mr Charles Warner created quite a sensation by his daring feate with the tigers. To-night there will be an entire change of programme, and on Wednesday the second matinee will be given.
