Hours, from 9 to 7, for a few days oaly. OPINIONS OF THE PRESS. " North Otago Times," Nov. 22nd, 1879. _ A moat noteworthy feature connected with the show was the Camera Obscnra. The Camera is fixed up in a pavilion which is placed on a jjrasßy eminence. It is marvellously interesting. On a canvas surface placed immediately beneath the lens, which is in the dome of the pavilion, the whole town, its surroundings, and the people moving about in the streets can be seen with astonishing distinctness, fobming a beautiful LIVING pictube. Every change in the sky, anb the colors on the face of the landscape and in the streets is accurately reflected on the canvas beneath the eyes of the spectators. The pavilion will be kept onen for the public to-day, and we know of nothing in visitors. *• Oamani Mail," Nov. 22nd, 1879. The great Camera Obscnra, which was erected near the show ground, and was open during the days of tho exhibition and to-day, has been a source of great attraction, and it has been acknowledged by all who have seen it to bo the most wonderful optical instrument of its kind they have ever seen.
