A three-act comedy which has been •brought out at the Paris Gymcase bids fait to rival the sncc< as of " Beb6," which it may 'be fairly anid to tread on more delicate—or rather indelicate —ground than any recent piece produced in Paris. It is styled " Jonathan," and has for authors MM. Qondinet, Oswald, and Giffard. A life of Dr Livingstone is in preparation, under the supervision of his family, and has special reference to his personal and domestic character, and his work as missionary. ProiSSßoi Blaclue, of Kdinbaigh, has it in hand.
