AnniTEn— December 1. . Edith Reid, MoKolvie, from Auckland via Lyttelton. IstronTS. Per Edith Reid—l4,oooft sawn timfcor. Consignee—J. Sims. The fine Schooner Edith Reid arrived off the Kaiipoi bar on Monday, and with a fair wind came howling along under the pilotage of Mr Petersen, to Oram and Hausen’s wharf without a single stoppage. Groat interest was manifested in her arrival judging by the number of persons who assembled on the wharf. The Edith Reid is one of tbo largest vessels next to the John Bullock, which has entered so far np the river. The horthiug at the wharf hat been vastly improved of late by the works carried out by the Waimakinri Harbor Board. The vessel brought in d largo consignment of superior New Zealand timber, consigned to Mr John buns. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Pont Caiiarns, December 2. Arrived— Penguin, from Lyttelton.
