Mr. Gladstone arrived at Edinburgh and was enthusiastically received. The Chili-Peruviaa War. The Chilian fillet defeated the combined Peruvian and Bolivian fleets off Iquique, and captured the corvette Pilicarnay. DUBLIN, November 24. Irish AffairsDaley was committed for trial. Paget and others were remanded. Parnell at a meeting on Saturday counselled moderation for the attainment of the desired ends. Other meetings in various parts passed off quietly. The Wool Sales. At the wool sales to-day 6931 bales were catalogued.
