CANTERBURY RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

The opening meeting of the Rifle Association was held yesterday, at the Cashmere range. Tho weather was very good for shooting in the early part of the morning, but at the 600 yards range there was a heavy shower. Matches were fired at 200' and 300, 400 and 500 and 600 yards, seven shots at each, three prizes being given in each match. The following were the scores made :
