POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Ma 11m close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to necessary alterations) as under « THURSDAY, NOV. 13. For Otago and Southland, per Waitaki, at 12.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 1 p.m.; guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Wellington and Northern ports, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m j guard’s van, 2,40 p.m, train. The next mails for the United Kingdom, &c., via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed by either of these routes only), will be closed at Christchurch on November 19th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on the 12th of January, 1880, and the mail via Southampton on 19th January, 1880. OXTWST J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
