SHIPMENTS BY MR P. LOEILLARD. [“ Turf, Field, and Farm. ”] Falsetto, brown colt, foaled 1876, by Enquirer (son of imp. Leamington and Lida, by Lexington), dam Farfaletta, by imp. Australian. Falsetto bad been let up since his purchase, and was looking welL His performance this year stamps him as a first-class three-year-old. He started in five races, won four and lost one : Lexington, Ky., May 10th, won Phoenix Hotel Stakes, lOOlbs np, one mile and a quarter, in 2:08f. Louisville, Ky., May 20th, was second to Lord Murphy for the Kentucky Derby, one and a haft miles, lOOlbs on each, in 3:37. Same place, May 27th, won the Clark Stake, two miles, in 3:401. Saratoga, July 19th, won Travers Stakes, one and three quarter miles, HSlba up, in 3:09J, beating Spendthrift, Harold, &o. Saratoga, August 12 th, won Kenner Stakes, two miles, 1181bs up, in 3:35}, defeating Spendthrift, Jericho, &c. This is the full text of his career in this country. That he will make an honorable record, with good health, we have not the shadow of a doubt. With him were eight yearlings, four colts and four fillies : Dacota, bay colt, by War Dance (son of Lexington and Reel, by imp. Glencoe), dam Sly Boots, the dam of Leveller. He is a colt of great substance and power, and will make a useful, good horse. He is engaged in the Derby and St. Leger Stakes for 1881. Iroquoise, brown colt, own brother to Harold. This is a very fine colt, with more substance than Harold, great length, good shoulders, and great sweep in his hindquarters ; he should prove a first-class horse. Is engaged in the Derby and St. 1 eger in 1881. Passaic, bay colt, by Longfellow (son of imp. Leamington and Nantura, by Brawner’e Eclipse), dam Jury, by Lexington. This is a fine colt, with good shoulders, arched loin and good hips and quarters ; his hocks look curby. He is also engaged in the Derby and St. Leger for 1881, Santee, chesnut colt, by imp. Leamington, dam Delight, by Jack Malone, son of Lexington. Stands 15 hands and a quarter inch. This is a fine, good colt, except his hocks, which are curby. He is also in the Derby and St. Leger for 1881. Paw-Paw, chesnut filly, own sister to the great Parole, by imp. Leamington, dam Maiden, dam of Parole, by Lexington. She is 15 hands high. She is a wonderfully fine filly all over, with great substance and power, but rather light in bone both below the knees and hocks. She is engaged in the Oaks and St. Leger Stakes for 1881. Mohawk, bay filly, by John Morgan, son of imp. Sovereign, dam Eflie Cheatham, by Bill Cheatham, son of imp. Albion. She is 14J hands high. She is in the Oaks for 1881. Wyandotte, chesnut filly, own sister to Rhadamanthus, by imp. Leamington, dam Nemesis, by imp. Eclipse. She is a very fine filly all over, and possesses great substance and power. She will make her mark. Is engaged in the Oaks andJSt. Leger Stakes for 1881. Seneca, bay filly, by imp. Strachino or imp Saxon, dam imp. Genista, by King Tom. Is 15 hands and a quarter-inch high. She is one of the best in the lot; a fine, wellshaped filly, and should race. She is doubtless by Saxon, as she resembles the stock. She is engaged in the Oaks Stakes for 1881. Mr Lorillard’s string will now number eighteen head.
