Tararna arrived at noon to-day from Port Chalmers, Bluff, and Melbourne, to sail this afternoon for Wellington. The barque Tasso, from Bluff, arrived this morning. The ketch Glimpse, Captain Featherston, arrived Aeatorday from Timarn. whence she left on Saturday. Easterly winds prevailed up the Coast. i'ho s.s. Taiaroa, for Port Chalmers, is to sail this afternoon; and the s.s. Tararua for Weiliogton. The barque Antares, Captain Lewis, here last January, arrived at Newcastle October 24th from I>unedin, to load coal for this port. The Antares is one of Messrs Shaw, Savill and Oo.’s chartered ships, and it is said will load here for London. The schooner Mary King, Captain Bailey, arrived yesterday from Pelorus Sound, having left there last Saturday, and met with light winds on the passage. SHIPPING TELEGEAMS. ■Wellington, November 5. The ship Wairoa has been placed in quarantine. Two cases of scarlatina, two of measles, and two deaths from consumption occurred on the voyage. Besides these, a child died this morning.
