Malls close at the Chief Post Office (or the fallowing places (subject to necessary iterations) as under i TUESDAY, NOV. 4. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Wellington. at 5.45 p.m.; guard’s van must not be used. WEDNESDAY, NOY. 5. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters 3.20 p.m.; guard's van 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, NOV. 8. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and Amerioa,China, Japan, &c., via San Francisco, Sandwich Islands, and Northern ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, as follows j Ordinary letters, 5 p.m. Late fee letters, 5.30 p.m. Registered correspondence, 4 p.m. Books and newspapers, 4 p.m. Money orders, 3 p.m. Guard’s van, 6.30 p.m. train. This mail is due in London on 23rd Dec, The next mails for the United Kingdom, &c., via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed by either of these routes only), will be closed at Christchurch on November 19th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on the 12th of January, 1880, and the mail via Southampton on 19th January, 1880.
