POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Moils close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to necessary alterations) as under i SATURDAY, NOV. 1. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Hawca, at 7 p.m. Guard’s van must not bo used for Hawea's mails. MONDAY, NOV. 3. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 12.15 p.m.; late foo letters, 1 p.m.; guard’s van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Kaitoura and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hnia, at 1.15 p.m. Guard's van must not be used. WEDNESDAY, NOV. 5. For Australian Colonics, per express train (to connect with Tararna at Port Chalmers), at 7.30 a.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, &e., via Son Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on Saturday, Bth November. This mail is duo in London on 23rd Deo. The next mails for the United Kingdom, Ac., via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed by either of those routes only), will be closed at Christchurch on November 19th.
