For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 7 p.m. Gnarcl'a van must not bo used. MONDAY. OCTOBER 27. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Sydney, aud Brisbane, per Eotorua, at 1.50 p.m. .Late fee letters, 2.10 a.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikonra aud Wellington, per Huia, at 1.45 p.m.; guard's van must not be usod for Huia's mails. Note—On and after Tuesday, Oct. 21st, mails will close at Christehurch for Upper Waiau Ferry and Hanmer Plains, each Tuesday at 6 a.m., and arrive at Christchurch from these offices each Thursday, at 8 p.m. HYDNaZJ.DICK, CLief Pos'imnit**.
