For Otago, per Hawoa, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Hnia, at 4.45 p.m. Guard's van must not be used. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Penguin, at 7 p.m. Guard’s van must not bo used. Note—On and after Tuesday, Oct. 21st, mails will close at Christchurch for Upper "VVaiau Ferry and Hanmer Plains, each Tuesday at 6 a.m., and arrive at Christchurch from these offices each Thursday, at 8 p.m. SYDNEY J, DICK, Chief Post-menl-er.
