The schooner Isabella, Anderson, which sailed yesterday for Oamaru, put back last night. The brigantine Seabird, Captain Smith, arrived in harbor this morning from Havelock. The s.s. Southern Cross, from Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast, arrived this morning. She leaves on the return trip to-morrow. The American barque Sountag for Manilla, the brig Emily for Newcastle, and Mary Ogilvie for Greymonth, cleared at the Customs this morning. The Oleander, barque, Captain Joass, sailed this morning for Newcastle. The barqne Elizabeth, Captain Xovett, arrived yesterday, from Newcastle, with a cargo of coal for her owner, Mr C. W. Turner. She left there Oot. 6th, and had N.E. winds across to making the Solanders, October 12th, at noon, then for four day easterly and S.E. winds, carrying the vessel through Foveaux Straits, cleared Stewart's Island October 17th, and had light easterly and S.E. winds •up the coast. The Elizabeth was berthed at No. 3 yesterday. Since she was last here the Elizabeth hiw made a trip between the Bluff and Newcastle. SHIPPING TELEGKAMS. Bluff. October 21. The Albion cleared the Heads at 6.40 p.m. on the 14th, and arrived at Hobart Town 3.15 p.m. of the 16th; sailed again at 8.20 p.m. the same night, passed the Solanders at 4.40 p.m. of the 20th. ■lowed engines to half speed and reached the Bluff at daylight of the 21st. Had strong Easterly winds and thick foggy weather for two days after leaving Hobart Town, afterwards a brisk Northerly breeze and fine weather, to arrival. Passengers For Dunedin—Mrs Logie, Miss Hogan, Messrs Brown, Selby, Mercer j steerage 14, and 131 tons of cargo. For lyttelton Mr and Mrs Ollivier, Messrs Strange and Jones ; steerage 2, and 50 tons of cargo. Tor Wellington—Miss Shannon, Mr Handy ; 9 steerage, and 10S tons of cargo.
