For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Wellington, at 1.50 j> m. Late foe letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, OCT. 22.
For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Southern Cross, at 9.45 a.m. Late fee letters, 10 a.m. j guard’s van, 10.30 a.m. tram. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed by cither of these routes only), India, China, Africa. Australian Colonies, and Otago, per Arawata, as follows : Ordinary letters, 1 p.m. Late fee letters, 1.45 p.m. Books and newspapers, 12 noon. Money orders, 12 noon. Registered letters, 12 noon. Guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Nelson, Westport, and Greymonth, per Maori, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p :n. train. For Kaikonra and Wellington, per Huia, at 4.45 p.m.; guard’s van must not bo used. The mails via Brindisi will ho duo in London on 15th Dec., and via Southampton on 22udDec. Note— On and after Tuesday, Oot. 21st, mails will close at Christchurch for Upper Waian Ferry and Hanraer Plains, each Tuesday at 6 a.m., and arrive at Christchurch from these offices each Thursday, at 8 p.m. HTDHHY J, DIOK.
