VOLUNTEER REVIEW.
To the Editor of tlie Olohe. Sib,—ln this day's issue of the " Press," the result of a meeting hold last evening at Oo kson's Hotel is announced, from which it appears that a postponement was agreed to by the few members of committee present, in consequence of the absence of the larger number. Now, in view of the unanimous wish of the Christchurch Volunteers in favor of an encampment and review, it certainly appears rather bad taste on the part of the absenteei. last evening, and a grave error of judgment, more especially in consideration of the short time now left in which to organise. I really trust that the officers will at onc6exert themselves, bearing in mind that tbey only will be to blame should a failure result through their apparent dilitarinessi Yours, &c, Howitzbe.
