The s.s. Maori, for Port Chalmers, is to sail today. The brig Minora arrived hence at Newcastle September 23td, afld the Woddville, barque. Sept. 20th ; Sunbeam, 22hd ; and the Mary Blair on the 16th. The brig'Emily soiled from Newcastle for here on the 25th. The departure of the s.s. The schooner Falconer, from Hobart Town, encountered ■ terrible weather. The-wheel was smashed by a.heavy sea, which also-burst into the cabin and flooded it. The danger was so imminent at one-period that a considerable-quantity of cargo was thrown -overboard.
