She is to soil for Kaikonra, Wellington, and Foxton to-hight. The barque'lsland'City cleared for Newcastle this morning. The s.s. Tarama-was coming into port from the Sonth os onr express left. The s.s. Maori, for Port Chalmers, is to sail today. The brig Minora arrived hence at Newcastle September 23td, afld the Woddville, barque. Sept. 20th ; Sunbeam, 22hd ; and the Mary Blair on the 16th. The brig'Emily soiled from Newcastle for here on the 25th. The departure of the s.s. The schooner Falconer, from Hobart Town, encountered ■ terrible weather. The-wheel was smashed by a.heavy sea, which also-burst into the cabin and flooded it. The danger was so imminent at one-period that a considerable-quantity of cargo was thrown -overboard.
