[keuter’s telegrams.] SYDNEY, October 9. ASSISTED IMMIGRATION. The Tracies Unions have carried resolutions condemning the continuance of assisted immigration. BRISBANE, October 9. Tbe Government bare resolved to resume assisted immigration. MELBOURNE, October 8. A copious rainfall baa taken place throughout Victoria. Tbe departures from London between 14th and 29th Angnst were Hermione and Loch Elect for Port Chalmers, Hurunui and Lady Jocelyn for Lyttelton, Fernglen and Adamant for Auckland, Opawa for Wellington.
