SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION.

The usual monthly meeting of the above was held last evening. The following schools were represented—Baptist, Wesleyan, Durham street and Colombo road ; Congregation, Manchester street and Bbillipstown ; Free Methodist and Primitive Methodist, In accordance with the circular received from London, it wns resolved to hold a united prayer meeting on Sunday, 19th inst., in the following places:—Young Men’s Christian Association rooms, Wesleyan churches East Belt, St. Albans, and Colombo road. The Greendale school was admitted to the Union. It was decided to hold a special committee meeting on Monday, 27th inst., to consider the formation of a teachers’ institute and and examinations for teachers. After some routine business the meeting closed.
