After a long discussion as to tho future line of action, an executive committee was formed to watch over affairs. It was agreed that nothing further be divulged. AUCKLAND, October 7. Mr Whitaker accepts Mr Hall’s invitation to take the Attorney-Generalship and a seat in tho Upper House. He leaves for Wellington to-morrow.
