The semi-official “ Agencie Russo ” declares that events in Asia prove the necessity of an entente cordiale between England and Russia. LONDON, September 24. There are large withdrawals of gold for North America; £IOO,OOO was shipped to-day. The following vessels have arrived : Loch Fyne, from Port Pirie, sailed. May 18th; Woodlark from Adelaide, June 7th ; Gladstone, from Sydney, May 21st; Wave of Life, from Sydney, June Ilth; BERLIN, September 25. The Emperor of Germany has arrived at Metz. Prince Bismarck is at Dresden. ST. PETERSBURG, September 25. The semi-official “ Agence Russo” contradicts the rumor of Russian intrigunes with Afghanistan.
