Southern Cross, s.s., 139 tons, Helander, tor Auckland, via East Coast and Wellington. Cuff and Graham, agents. The barque Viudex, Captain Rose, from Now castle, arrived this morning with a cargo of coal. The barque Doohra was towed into the stream this morning, prior to leaving for Oregon. The s.s. Southern Cross, for Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast ports, is to sail this afternoon. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Pom Chalm’ RS, September 17. Arrived—Arawata, from Bluff. Sailed —Arrogance, for Newcastle.
