The necessity for such measures is now admitted by all, and actively promulgated by many. The test adopted, however, for admission of Members to the Society is adhesion to the Liberal Policy placed before the country by the present Government, and the aim of the Association is the return of Members to support that policy. _ All who are anxious to secure the adoption of this end are earnestly invited to immediately enrol themselves as Members of the Association, and to wark under its rules in unison and harmony for the purposes stated.
