POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Molls close at the Chief Post Office for the fjllowing places (subject to necessary alterations) as under FRIDAY, SEPT. 5. For Northern ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies per Eingoroonm. SATURDAY, SEPT. 6. For Otago, per Penguin. For Northern ports, per Wanaka. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on September 12th, and will be due in London on October 28th. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), will be close at Christchurch on September 24. The mail via Brindisi will bo due in London on November 17th, and the mail via Southampton on November 24th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
