People wanting servants, people wanting employment, people who have lost or who have found things, are often deterred from znakin_, heir wants known through the columns of the Public Press by tha price charged, which is considered high when compared with the value of the purpose sought to bo achieved. As the Globe 10 now pre-eminently the most popular evening journal m Canterbury, enjoying, as it does, & large circulation amongst tho class by whom such a concession would be regarded as a boon, it has been thought desirable that it should be made the medium at once. After this date, therefore, advertisements in the "Wanted” Column of the Globe, when they do not exceed Twenty-Foxtb Wobds, will bo inserted for ONE SHILLINGS * EACH INSERTION conditionally upon payment accompanying the Manuscript.
