m.Hh close at the Chief Post Office for the f jllowin* places (subject to necessary alterations) as under TUESDAY, SEPT. 2. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.48 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 3. For Australian colonies, per express train to Port Chalmers (to connect with s.s. Albion), at 7.30 a.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Franoisoo will be closed at Christchurch on September 12th, and will be due in London on October 28th. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), will be close at Christchurch on September 24. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on November 17th, and the mail via Southampton on November 24th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
