For Nelson and Westport, per Maori, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Akaroa, per Wanaka, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.40 p.m. train. - . For Northern ports, per Penguin, at 7 p.m. The late letter box, guard's van, must not bo used for this n nil. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only) will be closed at Christchurch on Tuesday, August 26th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on October 20th, and the mail via Southampton on October 27th. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Franoisco will be closed at Christohuroh on September 12th, and will be duo in London on October 28th. Notice.—Only town rate of postago (Id per halfouncej is charged on letters posted in Christchurch, Sydenham, or snburban receiving boxes, for delivery by local letter carriers throughout these boroughs or suburbs.
