For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only) will beclosed at Christchurch on Tuesday, August 26th. The mail via Brindisi will bo due in London on October 20th, and the mail via Southampton on October 27th. The nert mail for the United Kingdom via San Fronoisco will be closed at Christchurch on September 12th, and will bo due in London on Ootober 28th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
