Couil, at Lyttelton, the magistrate stated that a letter had been received by him from a resident in Port, complaining of the prevalence of larrikinism. Accompanying his letter, the writer had sent some specimen stones which had been thrown at bis house. The magis(ratc said he hoped, by calling attention to the matter in a public way, those concerned would bo sufficiently warned, for, in the event of any larrikin being brought before the Court, a most severe punishment would be inflicted upon him.
