[eeuteb's telegkams.] LONDON, August 11. COMMERCIAL. The English wheat crop is expected to he twenty-five per cent, below the average. Three per cent, consols are at 971. Other securities, including colonial debentures, rule lower. Adelaide wheat is quoted at 49s per 49 Gibs., ex warehouse. The estimated quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 560,000 quarters. THE IRISH UNIVERSITY BILL. The House of Commons has read the Irish University Bill a third time. EGYPTIAN AFFAIRS. In the House of Commons last night the Chancellor of the Exchequer made a statement defending the policy of Government with respect to Egypt. It aimed, he said, at stopping the previous mis-govermnent. PROROGATION OP PARLIAMENT. Tho prorogation of Parliament [is fixed to take place on Friday.
