Edwards, Bennett, and Co., Diviiig operations wore re-commcuccd at tho barque Bells yesterday, diver Cannell remaining down ahout four honr3 and a quarter. He cut away the broken pieceof tho vessel's keel, and made cood progress, patting on battens and canvas over the damaged part. Nearly 12ft. along from the rudder post tho keel was chafed into fragments. Tho diver will bo at work at it to-day, and this evening it is expected that the water now in tho vessel can bo entirely pumped out. The rcmn, ndor cf tho cargo has then to be discharged, and tho barquo repaired.

The Tararua left Melbonrne on the sth, at 3.45 •p m.: arrived at Hohart Town on the 7th, at 12.45 p.m.; left at 5.10 p.m.; pasßod the Solanders at 6.30 on the 11th, and arrived at the Bluff by daylight. She experienced a strong head wind and thick weather during her passage. Passengers— Saloon—Messrs Holmes, McLean, Bartlett, Matthews, Porman, Parlato, Mrs McLean, Misses Tullock, Pox, and Eotham. Eight steerage and 20 tons.
