HOUSE OP REPRESENTATIVES. Monday, August 11. The House met at noon. Major Campbell took the chair. Several petitions were presented, one relating to reading the Bible in schools. A message was received from the Governor, stating that he assented to the Supply, 3Tew Zealand Loan, and Maori Prisoners •Bills. The Pbestieb said Parliament would be prorogued by commission, and the House adjourned till one, to meet in the Legislative Council Chamber THE PBOHOQATION. Parliament was prorogued by commission this afternoon Very few persons were present.
