I.COO Branch from Greytown to main line 1,000 Surveys to open up lands before sale 1,000 Waitahuna road 600 Public buildings, post and telegraph offices 3,500 Lunatio asylums ... 2,500 Local bodies contingencies 100 Total £1,514,827 There is also printed a schedule of works to be carried on under the Appropriation Bill of 7th August, 1879, which includes railways in the North and South Islands, surveys of now lines of roads in the North and Middle Islands, waterworks on goldfields, telegraph extension, publio buildings, lighthouse, and miscellaneous works.
