INTERPROVINCIAL FOOTBALL MATCHES.
A meeting of the Christchurch member* of the Canterbury Rugby TJuion was held last evening, to make arrangements for entertaining the representatives of Otago and Wellington on the occasion of the forthcoming interprarincial football matches. The first of these will most probably take place on the’ 23rd instant. Ball, reception, and ground committees were appointed. The ball will, in all probability, bo held on the 25th instant. The matches will be played in a paddock lent by Mr John Anderson, situated in Cashel street east.
