Malls close at the Chief Post Offloe for the fallowing places (subject to necessary alterations) as under MONDAY. AUGUST 4, For Northern Ports of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Wakatipn, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Hnia, at 4.45 p.m. The late lotter-hox, guard’s vax, must not he used for this mail.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 5. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; late foe letters, 2.10 p.m. j guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6. For Australian Colonies, per express train to Port Chalmers (to connect with s.s. Albion), at 7.»0a.m.
The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on August 15th, and will be duo in London on September 30th. The next mails for tho United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only) will ho closed at Christchurch on August 25th.
