[from otjb own correspondent.] WELLINGTON, July 31. • A large caucus was held this morning. Those present were quite unanimous to act in concert as one man, but that action wil evidently not be the refusal of supply, so that a very early and speedy general election is certain. [PBB PRESS AGENCY.] A large meeting of the Opposition wa9 held to-day. The proceedings were considered private, but it is understood that the greatest unanimity prevailed, especially amongst the so-called "rats," but of course the action decided on will only be made known in Parliament. It is reported amongst Ministerialist supporters that tho Opposition will agree to the Loan Bill, and pass three months' supplies, and make the new writs issued returnable as early as possible ; also that the Opposition intend raising a fund of £20,000 for tho purpose of contesting elections against the Grroyites.
