LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. Tuesday, Judy 29. In reply'to Mr Waterhouse, Colonel Whituobb said Sir J. Vogel had not applied to the Government for permission to join Mr Larnach’s Company till after doing so. In reply to a question, Colonel Whithoee said the Government had paid 2000 Treasury Bills in London to suit the convenience of the holders. The same course had been followed before. On the motion of Taiaeoa, a return was ordered of all Native Reserves on the West Coast of the South Island. A quantity of formal business was disposed cf, and the Council adjourned at 3.30 till Thursday.
