SPECIAL TO THE GLOBE. LONDON, July 26. THE MAEIETS, Present cash quotations for Australian copper are £6O to £6l. Victorian 6 per cent., 1883 to 1885, are quoted at 107. New South Wales 5 per cents. 1888 to 1892, are at 106 Now Zealand consolidated per cent, are at lOlid. Queensland 4 per cent., 1913 to 1915, are at _9l£. Victorian 4 per cent., 1899, is at 971. New South Wales 4 per cents., 1900 to 1905, at 98J. Money Market. —The open market is 11 per cent, under Bank rate. Tallow is firm, at advancing rates. The tin market is steady at recent quotations. Poreign arrivals of wheat are abundant. Australian wheat, ex Rodney, is selling at 51s per 4801bs. [retjtee’s telegrams.] LONDON, July 25. The debate on the second reading of the Irish University Bill in the House of Commons last night was adjourned. It is believed a dissolution of Parliament is imminent. July 26. Five per cent. Mr. Mills abandoned his motion because of the exhaustive character of the despatch of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach. The Great Powers have appointed a Commission to control Egyptian finances.
