Hails per Arawata will bo closed as under: — For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via Brindisi and Southampton (for csrrespondeuco addressed per either of these routes only), India, South Africa, Egypt, Australian colonics, Otago, &c Ordinary letters, at 1 p.m. Late foe letters, at 1.45 p.m. Books and newspapers, at 12 noon. Registered letters, at 12 noon. Money orders, at 11.30 a.m. Guard's van, 2.40 i>.m. train.

The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on September 22nd, and tho moil via Southampton on September 29th. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be olosed at Christchnrch on August 15th, and will be due in London on September 30th.

NOTE.—As tlis train which leaves Sheffield for Christchnrch on Wednesday and Saturday, at 12.45 p.m., will be discontinued at tho end of July, the West Coast mails will, after tha Ist proximo, leave Sheffield each Wednesday and Saturday, at 5.5 p.m., and arrive in Christchnrch at 7.45 p,m.
