Ellisdon, Christchurch—Four specimens of marble from the Canterbury Marble Quarry Company, Limited, polished. Mr A. M. Johnston, Trout Dale Farm, Opawa—Two specimens of Saltno fontinalis (American brook trout), from ov» imported from America by himself. Mr Charles A. Crusoe, of the Original Georgia Minstrels—One specimen of native copper from Lake Superior, Michigan, U.S., America ; one specimen of silver ore, California mine, Virginia City, Nevada; one specimen of silver ore from the Big Bonanza mine, Virginia City, Nevada j one specimen of cinnabar (quicksilver ore) from San Louis Obispo, Southern California.
