PARLIAMENTARY ITEMS.

I By Teleqeaph.l WELLINGTON, July 19. The House broke up at 12 35 this morning, when it adjourned till Tuesday. Sir W. Pox wished for a sitting on Monday, but would not dictate the time to men placed on their trial. Messtß Eolle3ton and Moss spoke alter Sir G. Grey. The former never speaks jo well as after listening to the Premier's wild declamations on the Canterbury squatters and their gridirons. Mr Moss speaks clearly and easily and in a voice that is heard in every corner, bat there is never anything in what he say 3. The ddbate is likely to last a week. It is stated that the Minister of Public Works had an interview with the -leader of the Opposition in reference to pissing an Imprest Supply Bill, and arrangements were come to that no obstruction should be offored to its passago through all stages early next week. Mr Bryce leads off the debate on Tuesday. Mr Ballance will vote with thi Government, but will not speak. There is a perfect absence of political rumors to-day, as if parties had hardened and there were no waverers. It is stited that the Opposition majority has increased to twenty, but it is doubtful if it is more than fourteen. Mr Sheehan, who is expected to speak on Tuesday, is to be followed by Mr Wakefield, who is taking notes industriously. The statement that the Governor, under present cucumstances, will not press his objections to an assent to a Loan Bill before the address in reply is agreed to, turns out to be entirely incorrect.
