Mails close at the Chief Post Office tor the £)Rowing places as under, subject to the necessary alterations SATURDAY, JULY 19. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Tarama, at Ip.m.; late fee letters, 1.45 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. Mails per Wanaka will be closed as under • For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America (via San Francisco), China, Japan, Sandwich Islands, Northern Porta of New Zealand, &c.: — Ordinary letters, at 1 p.m. Date fee letters, at 1.45 p.m. Books and newspapers, at 12 noon. Registered letters, at 12 noon. Money orders, at 11 a.m. Guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on September ~ Ud ' TUESDAY. JULY 22. For Australian Colonies, per Express train (to connect with s.s. Tararua at iPort Chalmers), at 7.30 a.m. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), will be closed at Christchurch on July 28th. . . • • The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on September 22nd, and the moil via Southampton on September 29th.
