Malle close at tho Chief Post Office tot tho following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations FRIDAY, JULY 11. For Kaikoura and Northern ports, per lima, at 4.15 p.ni. The late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for this mail. SATURDAY, JULY 12. For Wellington, Nelson, and Westpoio, per Wanganui, at 1.80 p.m.: late foe letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.15 a.m,; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Ladybird, at 6.30 p.m. For Northern ports, per Ringarooma at 8 p.m. Tho late letter hex, guard’s van, must not be used for the mails per Ladybird and Ringarooma, The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on Saturday, July 19th, and will be due in London on September 2nd. The next mails for tho United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), will bo closed at Christchnrch on July 28th. , . , Tho mail via Brindisi will be due in London on September 22nd, and the mail via Southampton on September 29th.
